We believe that God loves people: whatever their age, background, beliefs or behaviour

We believe that Jesus helps us to experience real hope, love, joy and peace

We believe that the Holy Spirit gives us power to change our lives for the better

We believe that God has good plans for our lives , for our town and the world

We believe in the Bible

We believe that prayer changes the world we live in

We love to build the church as a family

We are a member of the Evangelical Alliance Wales and affiliated with the Apostolic Church in Wales

    Church Leader

    With deep family roots in the area Andy was raised in England and served with NGOs in Egypt for many years. He is a UK charity director and is often to be found on Burry Port beach with Aisha, ball and throw stick!

    Church Leader

    Louise is married to Andy and they have three adult daughters. Louise is originally from Llanelli and currently serves as a town councillor. She loves a good cup of coffee and welcoming people for a tasty meal round the table.

    Worship Leader

    With roots in Cornwall and having lived in London, Rachel now lives in Burry Port and works as a care worker here. Rachel loves working with her hands, creating and fixing things – whether with cloth, clay or other materials. She loves to worship God and create spaces where people can be healed and restored in his presence.

    Safeguarding

    After a few years teaching and serving as a missionary in Spain, Bridget settled in South Wales over 20 years ago. Married to a Korean, with 2 sons, she lives in an international community, helps run a Home Education CIC and serves in the local church youth work.

  • Malcolm W

    Chair of Trustees

    Malcolm has lived in Burry Port for about 14 years with his wife Isis. He has spent most of his life involved in the Arab World working as a professor of translation and serving the church. He retired in March 2025 and is now enjoying reading, prayer, Bible teaching and swimming.
